SIE-COMMUNITY is a platform created by the companies INERGY and BEE DATA within the framework of the INSIGA and INCOMUNER innovation projects financed by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism (MINCOTUR) with support from the Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras (AEI).
INERGY is an energy services company focused on energy efficiency services and software with more than 10 years of experience. Our energy management and accounting software, SIE, is implemented in more than 500 public and private organisations, where more than 50,000 supply points are managed and monitored. Inergy regularly participates in innovation projects and has the Innovative SME seal awarded by the Ministry of Science and Innovation. Inergy is owned, among others, by the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE).
BEEDATA is a company that originated in the CIMNE research centre within a research group called BEE Group. Beedata was founded in 2017 after more than 10 years of research experience in energy information systems in European projects such as BECA, Encerticus and Empowering.
At Beedata, we seek to develop solutions that actively contribute to the energy transition. Reducing consumption and generating renewable energy are key elements to achieve net-zero emissions. Hence, we need to rethink our consumption patterns. We need tools to help consumers understand and control their energy consumption and promote self-consumption. For this reason, at Beedata, we translate energy data from smart meters, generation and air conditioning systems, into helpful information for each citizen or company, helping them in order to reduce their expenses and their carbon footprint.
